The Podgorica Summer of Culture is an event that presents various artistic performances- music, literature, painting, and ballet for example. Every summer, various artists visit Podgorica and have shows in several town locations. Sometimes there are musical shows in the open air, at the terrace of culture information centre, and in front of the King Nikola castle that gives these performances a special atmosphere.
For those who don't leave Podgorica during the hot summer days can, in some of the open areas of Podgorica, follow the concerts and drama performances.
Traditional cultural events of Podgorica's Cultural Summer 2009 will last from July 2nd to August 31st.
Programs will be shown in different areas: KIC Budo Tomovic, Šipčanik, Malesija, Zeta ...
