31st FAI World Parachuting - Championships & 5th FAI Junior World -Parachuting Championships

Exclusive for 2010, Montenegro (Niksic) is going to be this year's 31st FAI World Parachuting Championship (WPC) host. The organizer of this big event is Aeronautical Association of Montenegro and it is reserved from 28th of August till 4th of September. We are inviting you to come and enjoy this magnificent, unique event. Don't miss this! Event will be followed live by National Montenegrin television, Euronews and as a feature in Air sports World (available in 300 million homes worldwide via channels - ESPN and Sky Sports).
Recently, Montenegro has become great destination for Adventure sports because of its great nature value, climate, heritage, hospitality, position in Europe and distance from the biggest European roads. Town of Niksic is set in a natural bowl surrounded by the Prekornica and Maganik mountain ridges.
During the FAI Parachuting Championship there will be four different competitions:
1. Accuracy Landing: (Men, Seniors)
2. Accuracy Landing (Women, Seniors)
3. Freefall Style (Men, Seniors)
4. Freefall Style (Women, Seniors)
Accuracy Landing represent oldest skydiving discipline in which skydivers attempt to land as closely as possible to pre-determined target. Freefall Style is discipline in which skydivers are aiming to perform a pre-defined series of aerial maneuvers (front and back flips (loops), turns, and rolls). Competitors are timed for the length they take to perform the series of maneuvers.
