Apart from the abundant bio-diversity and wildlife, the lake is also characterised by the presence of numerous cultural and historical monuments. In addition, the Skadarsko Lake has several islands with fortresses and monasteries, each of which is culturally and historically a unique monument.
For an enchanting experience, take a lake cruise and spend a few hours seeing the Skadarsko Lake from a unique perspective. Enjoy the vistas, untouched nature and monuments of great cultural and historical significance from a boat out on the lake.
The cruise starts in Virpazar, after which the boat passes below Vranjina Bridge, Lesendro, Monastery Vranjina, the fisherman's village of Seoce, Grmozur Island, the great fortress which was used as a prison in King Nikola's time, Radus Spring which is the point where the lake is the deepest (80 metres), and finally to the beautiful Pjesacac Beach, where lunch will be served. Departure to Vranjina is planned after lunch.
